Essence of Tango

Argentine Tango is a very sensual dance.

Sometimes

it is the contact between two souls.

The soul is the most difficult part of ourselves to reach

and the most sensitive part of ourselves.

When we dance tango,

 sometimes,

 not all the time,

but often enough to repeat in hopes of it happening again...

sometimes,

 wisps of smoke

from the ethereal fire of our souls

 intermingle

 with wisps of smoke

from the ethereal fire of the soul of our dance partner...

then the song ends,

the dance stops

 and the smoke dissipates.

We walk away,

 affected deeply by the experience

no longer the same person...

trailing a few particles of smoke

from the soul  of our dance partner.

  1. Saying something is is not seems a hard thing to be accurate in for tango especially when it's putting personal feelings and saying that carries over to others?
Tango may be sensual for one person another it's refuge or solace or relaxation or enjoyment or socialising etc. To have shared experience positively with partner doesn't have to be focused primarily to at all on sensuousness to be enjoyed?
A joyful tanda a playful tanda a technical tanda a relaxed tanda a calming or healing tanda for example.

Oh but to be able to tweak Ines emotions as easily as a graphic equaliser - to bring down the sensual bass and bring in nuanced treble of connectedness on different frequencies perhaps.

Not to say that sensuousness should be completely absent.

  2. It is my belief that the soul is tangible. It is a premise of my latest book, Revelations of Wiccans which I wrote under the pen name of Carmen Cray. This poem is an attempt to explain that the soul's absence of mass is inversely proportional to its ability to detect sensations such as joy or pain.
