Cool Tango Blogs and Claro de Luna

I joined Google+ and found a lady over there blogging about tango. She had a link to her favorite blogposts. I scanned them and thought you’d like to read some of them. Here you go:

http://mytangodiaries.blogspot.com/2011/12/body-at-war-body-at-peace.html This woman’s got some sort of problem, maybe insomnia, but she can only relax doing tango. She is a very honest writer. At the bottom of her page are links to every tango blog imaginable.

http://pantina-tangotimes.blogspot.com/2009/03/tango-husbands-boyfriends-and-one-night.html This girl does a good job classifying her guys. I think you’ll find this amusing.

http://www.torontotango.com/opinions/cacho.htm This link is to an article by Cacho Dante. He looks back thirty years into the heart of tango and I thought it might be good research. I’ll read it later.

http://tangocorazon.wordpress.com/2009/10/23/sisterhood-and-solidarity-in-tango/ Initially, I shied away from this one because of the title. I forced myself to look past my preconceived notions and found a very interesting blogpost about tangueras doing something unusual and useful, to say the least.

I apologize for the profuse amount of content today but I’ve got ants in my pants and am stuck at home with no other work to do. Tomorrow I tango. Lots of choices Friday and Saturday but only one on Sunday: Claro de Luna. I can’t wait to dance with Jennifer……and Svetlana and Olga and Ann. Here is their flyer:

(For a more in-depth looking into the mind of the Kayak Hombre and his thoughts on tango, buy his book: River Tango, now available on Amazon.com at http://www.amazon.com/River-Tango-perri-iezzoni/dp/1453865527 )
